From what I've seen (my friend is using a200, twin kitlens), the image produced by SAL75-300 is better than SAL18-70. You can always google up for some reviews if you are uncertain. As for me, I'll say go for twin kitlens if you have the budget.
Moreover, there're several cases reported that 3rd party lens (eg Sigma 70-300 APO Macro) damaged the AF motor of the Alphas. Of course there are some that are happy with their 3rd party lens.
In the end, you still have to make the decision by yourself ;)
